Nicola got in touch with me to book a beginners photography course for her husband Gareth. A fantastic wildlife and landscape photographer he just needed a few tips on how how to take great portraits. A great time to do it as they were expecting their second child a few weeks later. Of course, Gareth can take lots of photos of his family but it’s important he’s in them too! so they invited me back to capture they’re new family of four.

Gareth’s Mum and Dad were staying so it’ was fabulous to be able to capture some photos of them with their cherished grandchildren, seeing as they live on New Zealand it’s not so easy to see them as often as they’d like.

We starte doff upstairs for some relaxed, natural family shots. We got lots of great photos that captured the love between these gorgeous people.  We headed outside to the lovely garden, where Gran and Grandad joined us. Gran shared her freshly bakes scones with us, which were AMAZING!

After the scones we made use of the colourful garden and got some of my favourite shots of the year so far. I hope you enjoy looking through them and please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions about your family photo session. I look forward to hearing from you.
