So you’re interested in booking an at-home family photographer in London, well you’ve come to the right place. There’s something deeply beautiful about photography a family in their own space. The place where you make your morning coffee, where your toddler insists on wearing odds socks, where your dog always ends up under your feet. It’s real life and that’s where your love shows up perfectly honest. 

At-home sessions with me let your children be themselves. No car or train journeys, no unfamiliar settings, no pressure to perform. Just your family, as you are, surrounded by everything that makes your story, yours. And from a photography point of view? The light is often better than you think, and the emotion always speaks louder than any mess.

YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED

What if my house is too small or dark for photos?
You’d be surprised how little space or light we actually need. I work with natural light and use soft, flattering techniques. A window, a bed, or even a patch of floor! All we really need is a window and possibly a chair to create some beautiful portraits
Do I need to tidy or style the house?
Of course you can tidy any areas you’d like photographed, but please don’t stress or deep clean. A bit of personality, a toy-strewn floor or laundry on the line? That’s life and it’s beautiful.
What should we wear
Every families style is different and my photography reflects that. Earthy, pops of colour, all white, all black? whatever you style is just make sure your as comfortable as possible. Bare feet and rolled up sleeves for lounging and bed snuggles work really well. Get inspired by looking at previous shoots and Pinterest but keep your personality in it for a timeless feel.
My kids are wild - what if they won't sit still?
Perfect, I don’t want them to sit still. At home sessions are designed for real life, which meaning you connecting and engaging with your kids. Giggles, meltdowns, snacks and sofa acrobatics are all included! I’ll work with their energy not against it. Some of the best photos happen in chaos and when you relax on the rules a bit while I’m there.
I hate having my photo taken
I get it. Most of us feel this way, especially when life is full. But you are perfect as you are now, you children will treasure seeing you in these photos. I use gentle flattering light but it helps if we focus on connection over perfection.
Can pets be included?
Absolutely! Pets are part of the family and always welcome.
How much does an at home session cost?
My sessions are £200 and Collections start at £699. The average clients spends about £1000. This is an investment for your future, to show your kids how you were, as a family and how much love existed during this time.
How far do I travel?
I am based in South East London and travel all over London and beyond. I photograph families in surrounding counties too. I’m happy to travel worldwide to photograph families!
How soon should I book our family session?
I usually book 4-6 weeks in advance, longer for weekends. If you have a particular date in mind it’s best to reach out early. I do take last minute bookings when I can, so feel free to ask!
Can we include grandparents and extended family in the session?
Yes, of course! My sessions are perfect for capturing multigenerational moments, there might be a small charge for larger groups just let me know.
Do you offer gift vouchers for family sessions?
Yes, At-home family shoots make beautiful meaningful gifts. Whether it’s for new parents, birthdays, or Christmas. I offer digital gift vouchers.

WHAT NEXT?

01 – SECURE YOUR DATE

 

So you’ve had a look around and you know I’m the photographer for you. You’ve got a good feel for how I work and are excited to start planning.

You’ve seen my portfolio and recent sessions and want your own family portrait session. Next step is to familiarise yourself with the pricing structure (below) it’s super easy, there’s a session fee (this secures your date) and then there’s the image collection fee. This can be chosen upfront or after your session.

02 – PLANNING YOUR SESSION

 

Once we found a date that works, I’ll open your online client portal where you’ll complete your booking form, this helps me to get to know you and your family a bit better and understand what you want most from the shoot.  

Have no idea where to start, don’t worry I can guide you or you can get inspired by other sessions in my recent work section. 

03 – ON THE DAY

 

Every family is different. So every session is unique, I’m led by the kids and their needs throughout. When there’s a relaxed atmosphere, you and your kids will shine. Try not to have too many preconceived ideas about how your session will evolve or how your kids will react. If you make the focus of your time connecting, exploring and chatting with your loved ones, sometimes ignoring the fact I’m there, we’ll have an incredible outcome. The magic happens when we let go. 

I will do some directing, sometimes a little sometimes a lot, just so we have the best light and flattering angles.

Choosing what to wear is important to the overall look and feel of your images, if you need help with this I’ve got you I can send some guidance. 

Plan for two hours with me, we can break for snacks and chats. I’m yet to hear a client say it hasn’t flown by! 

04 – AFTER YOUR SESSION

 

I will hand edit the very best images from your gallery. There will be at least 30 in total but often there is more. Any unflattering or less than perfect images will not make the cut.

Within 2-4 weeks you’ll recieve a link to your gallery. You can view a beautful slideshow of the highlights and then all the edited images from your session.

This is when you decide which collecton youd like to purchase, if you havent already. Once you’ve chosen the entire shop will open and you can purchase add ons such as prints, albums and frames.

PHOTO SESSION PRICES

SESSION FEE - £200

 

Before your session, a payment of £200 will be taken when you book. This fee secures the date. It is non-refundable but it is transferable.

Your session will last approx 60-90 minutes. Prints and digital images are purchased separately.

After your session you can view your beautifully edited slideshow and gallery online. Then you can  choose from the 3 collections below.

‘The days are long but the years are short”

As a mum to two (teenage!) boys I can’t explain how true this is. It feels as though I’ve blinked and they are now towering over me. Carrying them to bed happened one last time and I didn’t even know it. Every day moments that we’re prone to taking for granted, I want make sure you dont’t reget documenting what makes your relationships special. Sometimes the human brain needs a little nudge and once it’s had it in the form of olf family photos, a whole wealth of feelings and emotions come flooding back for you. For your kids and their kids it will be a way to piece together beautful, emotional and sometime hilarous parts of their childhood.

The simple fact is, you won’t regret making memories and saving them.
