I arrived at Hannah’s beautiful home a bit early. It’s hard to know with London traffic sometimes… I’m glad I did as Hannah’s sister made a lovely cup of coffee while I was admiring their kitchen, which had just been finished the day before! Nothing like a big home project before (and after!) baby arrives. It was worth it though, their home is beautiful!
Though obviously, my home envy flew to the back of my mind when I heard baby Charlie coming down the stairs. He was just snuggling back into the obligatory newborn position on his mums chest after being changed… and who enjoys that!? At 4 weeks old Charlie is alert and awake and ready to play with Mum and Dad. We started the session in their bedroom, as usual with my sessions, and we got some fabulous relaxed photos of this London family.
Of course with newborn session we allow lots of time for feeding and changing. So Charlie had a good feed and was back on top form for more photos downstairs in the living room. Some Dad and Son photos, some Mum and son photos and then finally some photos of Charlie hanging out in his bedroom. He had the most fun kicking about and having a stretch whilst his Mum and Dad cooed and ached over him. Bliss when you’re 4 weeks old!
