Dean’s team at work got in touch with me to buy a family photo session for him. What an awesome team he has! A few months later they got in touch to book the session. So I visited Dean, his wife Sewa and their two gorgeous girls in their beautiful Clapham home just before Christmas. It coincided with their little ones first birthday. Sewa asked if I did cake smash photos and although I don’t do these as a single offering I was more than happy to do some shots after the usual lifestyle session…in fact the cake smash turned into a bit of a relaxed affair too with the whole family getting involved!
We started off in Mum and Dad’s bedroom, a great place for family photos I feel because everyone relaxes and kids can climb all over Mum and Dad. These are my favourite kind of shots! The we moved downstairs to the living room for some Christmassy shots and then into the kitchen for the messy cake smash. There was even first steps captured in camera during this session…perfect memories captured!
