Wether you’ve had a family portrait session before or not, it’s useful to know how it works when booking a session with me. First and probably most important of all, it’s not just me keeping things ticking over here. I have Catherine working with me on some sides of the business. So after your initial enquiry it’ll be her that gets in touch to discuss your requirements and available dates. Catherine is on hand to answer any questions you have beforehand regarding prices, ideal locations, what to wear and anything else you can think of before the shoot.

My style of photography makes the most of natural light, your home environment and outdoor spaces. My sessions are unscripted and *mostly* undirected, each photo session evolves organically and I take my lead from the children. I tend to leave my camera in my bag to get to know your family first, a cuppa and a tour of the house is good way to ease into it. 2 hours later parents are usually surprised by how much fun they had and the children have definitely made a new best friend!

After your shoot, I’ll hand edit each image in the gallery. You can expect to view at least 30 images from the 2 hour session. Catherine will be in touch to arrange a viewing in your home. This can be done on evenings or weekends, whenever suits you. Deciding which images will work where and in what size can be a daunting task, so the lovely Catherine will be there to help every step of the way.
