MEET ANDREA
Hello! I’m Andrea, a professional family photographer based in Greenwich, South East London. My abiding memories of growing up were leafing through stacks of old family photo albums – memories and personalities frozen in time. It gave me a nice feeling and that’s something I haven’t lost. I want other people to experience it when they look at their photos. I want to capture your story, with you in it! So you, your children and your relatives can share in it too.
I’ve photographed hundreds of families since I started my business back in 2011, I’ve captured a whole range of important family moments, from amazing home-births to raucous 70th Birthday parties and everything big and small in between.
MY ETHOS
‘The days are long but the years are short”
As a mum to two (teenage!) boys I can’t explain how true this is. It feels as though I’ve blinked and they are now towering over me. Carrying them to bed happened one last time and I didn’t even know it. Every day moments that we’re prone to taking for granted, I want make sure you dont’t reget documenting what makes your relationships special. Sometimes the human brain needs a little nudge and once it’s had it in the form of olf family photos, a whole wealth of feelings and emotions come flooding back for you. For your kids and their kids it will be a way to piece together beautful, emotional and sometime hilarous parts of their childhood.
The simple fact is, you won’t regret making memories and saving them.
HOW IT WORKS

01 – SECURE YOUR DATE
So you’ve had a look around and you know I’m the photographer for you. You’ve got a good feel for how I work and are excited to start planning.
You’ve seen my Family Photography portfolio and recent sessions around London and want your own family portrait session. Next step is to familiarise yourself with the pricing structure (below) it’s super easy, there’s a session fee (this secures your date) and then there’s the image collection fee. This can be chosen upfront or after your session. If you chose upfront you get the session free, how about that!

02 – PLANNING YOUR SESSION
Once we found a date that works, I’ll open your online client portal where you’ll complete your booking form, this helps me to get to know you and your family a bit better and understand what direction you want to take the shoot in. A lot of my clients opt to combine at-home photography sessions and outdoor sessions. Though if you prefer either one over the other thats all good too!
It’s a great idea to think of ways we can make the session special to you, I love finding out what and where’s special for you guys. Is it relaxing at home or getting out and about and stuck into and lively activity?
Have no idea where to start, don’t worry I can suggest some great locations or you can get inspired by other sessions in my recent work section.
03 – ON THE DAY
Every family is different. So every session is unique, I’m let by the kids and their needs throughout. when there’s a relaxed atmosphere, you and your kids will shine. Try not to have too many preconceived ideas about how your session will evolve or how your kids will react. If you make the focus of your time connecting, playing and chatting with your loved ones, sometimes ignoring the fact I’m there we’ll have an incredible outcome. The magic happens when we let go.
I will do some directing, sometimes a little sometimes a lot, just so we have the best light and flattering angles.
Choosing what to wear is important to the overall look and feel of you images, if you need help with this I’ve got you.
Plan for two hours with me, we can break for snacks and chats. I’m yet to hear a client say it hasn’t flown by!
04 – AFTER YOUR SESSION
I will hand edit the very best images from your gallery. There will be at least 30 in total but often there is more. Any unflattering or less than perfect images will not make the cut.
Within 2-4 weeks you’ll recieve a link to your gallery. You can view a beautful slideshow of the highlights and then all the edited images from your session.
This is when you decide which collecton youd like to purchase, if you havent already. Once you’ve chosen the entire shop will open and you can purchase add ons such as prints, albums and frames.
