London Vacation Family Photography

This was the second shoot with Rita and her family. Last year we walked around Chelsea which was one of my all time favourite family sessions! I was so pleased when Rita got in touch again this year. With the added surprised of her being pregnant with her third baby girl, she looked amazing considering she’s nearly in her third trimester!

We decided to meet in Holland Park this time, and after the recent insane heatwave we had it was a relief to have an overcast cooler day. I’ve said it so many times but it’s a common misconception that we need bright sunshine or sunsets to get great shots… I much prefer a softer look though. As a mum myself I know what it’s like to work within times that suit the family. I’m not afraid to shoot at midday, I have enough experience and knowledge of light to be confident that I can get the best shots in any light. My main objective is to get you and your family being you.

Holland Park is one of my favourites. Mainly because of the waterfall in the Kyoto Garden it’s just so picturesque and such a unique find in London. If you’d like to book a session here just drop me a line, I’d love to hear from you.
